Equity Investments

Managing risk and enhancing long-term returns.

FCI’s equity investment goal is to provide our clients with superior returns while controlling risks. Our styles are designed to meet a variety of investment objectives as we seek to provide consistent returns and outperform the markets over the longer term.

FCI offers four equity strategies:

  • Equity Income seeks companies with a reliable history of dividend payments
  • Value Equity seeks stocks that are undervalued.
  • Core Equity seeks large-cap companies with long-term performance and tax efficiency
  • Select Growth seeks companies whose earnings are expected to outperform the broad market

Equity Income

Investment Objective
The objective of FCI’s Equity Income strategy is to outperform the Russell 1000 Value Index, net of fees over an entire market cycle, with less risk. The strategy is intended to provide investors with an above-market dividend yield as well as a growing income stream from a diversified portfolio of 35 to 45 common stocks selected from all ten economic sectors.

The portfolio is managed with low turnover to take advantage of preferential tax rates applicable to capital gains and qualified dividends. The dividend yield target for the portfolio is at least 150 percent of the dividend yield of the S&P 500.
